y por último la mejor por un pelito: "THE HONEYMOON SONG"

Por ahi escuché de la existencia de otra versión de "The Honeymoon Song" es cierto?, si la tienen pues...

SOME OTHER GUY.

La fuerza de las voces de paul y John cantadas al unisono le dan una consistencia increible, el solo de George y la dura bateria de Ringo hacen q este sea para mi un tema genial y muy pero muy tocable, al cantar y menear la cabeza te transporta magicamente hacia hamburgo o la caverna.

La versión de "Don't Ever Change" de Los Beatles, con la voz de George destacando sobre los coros, es magnífica. Por entonces el grupo hacñia muy buenas versiones de temas que originalmente fueron interpretados por grupos de chicas cantantes. Se trata además de una de mis composiciones favoritas de la dupla conformada por Carole King (música) y su entonces esposo Gerry Goffin (letra).

"I'll Be On My Way" también me gusta, pero su valor reside especialmente en ser el único tema "nuevo" de Lennon y McCartney que el grupo interpretó para la BBC. En realidad es un tema de Paul solamente, aunque John también lo cante. Mi parte preferida de esta canción es el cierre, con las voces repitiendo la frase del título sobre los acordes finales de guitarra acústica.

To Know Her Is To Love Her es, personalmente, una de las mejores del disco, seguida de Soldier of Love y Crying, Wating, Hoping.

Desde un primer momento, siempre me gustó "Lonesome tears in my eyes" (la de 1822!), y "So how come (no one loves me)".
En escuchadas posteriores, me incliné por unas más movidas, y me daba de un tirón con: "Young Blood" (me encanta cuando hacen voces), "A shot of rythm and blues" y "Some other guy" (aquí se puede palpar el nivel de amalgamiento (?) que había alcanzado la banda).
Y bueno, "I'll be on my way", una hermosa balada con el toque mccartney-lennon.
Es un disco bárbaro. Y es difícil quedarse con unos pocos temas. Lo veo como un vistazo o una pasada a la "musicoteca" del grupo: podés embeberte en todas las influencias de los chicos, y comprender cómo y de dónde fueron construyendo su estilo.
Además, cómo tocaban esos pibes!!
